The West Aurora Blackhawk Sports Boosters offer multiple levels of promotion and advertising as a means of supporting West Aurora Athletics. All profits from advertising go to support the athletic programs at West Aurora High School, the four middle schools in the district and individual student athletes in a variety of ways including college scholarships.
A. Print Media: Seasonal Sports Program The boosters produce one of the finest high school souvenir programs in the state. The multi-colored programs feature pictures of all the teams, individual returning letter winners along with the historic records for each varsity sport. New programs are published for each athletic season. 500+ copies produced for sale each year. B. Digital Scorers Tables: Gymnasium and Field House Three scorers’ tables house digital display screens for both static and scrolling ads. The tables function independently, allowing for their concurrent use in multiple gym locations for over 150 different athletic events each year. Digital ads are displayed for 30-60 seconds. Static ads are located on both the left and right side of the LED screen.
C. Stadium Scoreboard: The stadium’s digital scoreboard hosts 8 static advertising spots and a large digital LED screen for scrolling video ads. There are over 60+ events in the West Aurora stadium each year.
D. Digital Video Board:
LED Video Board, located in Kerkman Gymnasium, displays both static and scrolling digital ads. The video board will be in use for over 150 athletic events, JrROTC competitions, numerous school assemblies and district events. Static Ads are displayed on the right and left side of the digital LED screen.
