In memory of Kathy Baumann, a memorial tree was placed outside the entrance to the Main Gym at West Aurora High School on Friday November 7th.

Kathy passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on August 5th of this year. She was a longtime Sports Booster, Board Member of the Sports Boosters for many years, and was known to help wherever needed for concessions, ticket sales, and program sales as well as at our annual Golf Outing and other special events. She was a tireless volunteer for the Sports Boosters and would know what was needed long before she was asked to help.

A brief memorial service for Kathy will be held on Saturday November 15 at 4:00 PM at West High outside the Main Gym where the tree has been planted. We will gather afterward at Hounds Blue Moon for drinks and appetizers.
